Add a Meeting to a Discussion-Forum Entry

Sometimes the content of a discussion-forum entry is relevant to an online meeting. For example, a discussion-forum entry might contain a document or a threaded discussion that pertains to an upcoming meeting. In this case, it can be useful to attach the meeting directly to that entry. Users can then access the meeting from the entry.

To add an online meeting to a discussion-forum entry:

  1. From the discussion forum, click on the title of the entry.

    The entry appears.

  2. From the Add menu, select Add a Forum eMeeting.

    The "Create a new Forum eMeeting" form appears.

  3. Complete the form.
  4. At the bottom of the page, click OK.

    Forum redisplays the entry, which now includes information about the online meeting. Users who have the proper access privileges can click on the meeting title for more information, or click on the Enter meeting link to enter the meeting. (They can also enter this meeting from Forum eMeeting.)
